Been to electrolysis this morning for the first time in a year and a half. Ugh. They stick needles in the pores on your face and put electric current through the needle for a few seconds, causing a small burn inside the pore. The whole procedure is exactly as pleasant as it sounds, and the results are not nearly as permanent as they let you understand.
In case anyone does not know, hair removal is the objective. After the first 10 treatments or so you start noticing that it is working, in the sense that fewer hairs grow than before. After a long while you notice that you used to need this every week but now only every year, or year and a half. I don't know whether it will ever really end.
