History books, Russian style

In our series "things I really didn't miss from my childhood, but am seeing again anyway":

Russians are publishing new history textbooks for school, again. You can guess the contents.

When I was young, in 1986-1988, they tried to do it, too. The problem was that the history changed more often than the publishing logistics would allow for. Pretty soon they gave up. Soon after that the teacher gave up too, let us just sit and have fun in his class, and promised us to tell us the version of history that would be on the final exam a couple of weeks before the exam, when the exam version of history would be decided.
