In the news

Schwarzenegger takes sexual harassment course, says CNN. Does he really need it? I thought he was proficient enough already.

In the Middle East:

Palestinian prime minister Ahmed Qurei told Palestinians rather strongly that terrorism is a bad idea and urged them not to do any suicide bombing. They probably won't listen, but good of him anyway.

Several hundered Jewish settlers from Kiryat Arba (duh, surprise) attacked Israeli army when it was dismantling an illegal West Bank outpost and got their asses deservedly kicked. In East Jerusalem Arab neighborhood of Silwan 11 Jewish families were moving into 2 buildings they had bought and their new neighbors started stoning them, for which they also got theirs asses deservedly kicked by police.

Israeli army has also arrested 12 terrorists in Bethlehem psychiatric hospital. Going to the source of suicide bomber recruitment?

Islamic Jihad tried to recruit 15-year old Tamer Khweirah by promising him $45, a pair of jeans, a shirt, a cell phone and 72 virgins. They actually handed the boy $45, the jeans, the shirt, and the cell phone in this life, and the virgins were promised in paradise after the deed. The virgins will have to wait though, because the boy's older brother managed to find him and get him home. The article does not mention whether he had to return the rest of the stuff to the Islamic Jihad, whether it was confiscated by the Israelis who arrested the boy later on, or whether he was allowed to keep it. In the latter case he should probably use the cell phone to call some real-life virgins, although he is highly unlikely to get 72 at a time.
