Hamlet

On Wednesday went to see Hamlet in the Jurkka theater with Anu, Leena and Rhia. It was weird but I liked it. There were only four actors for all the roles, and not much in the way of decorations. One thing I did not like was that craziness of Hamlet was presented in a way that constantly reminded me of the bums who get drunk on the bench near the Herttoniemi subway station in the morning. Authentic, sure; but annoying. Other than that the actors were very good, and the lack of decorations was no trouble at all.

It was definitely meant for people who have read the book or seen the play before. A person seeing this for the first time would probably not understand everything, especially in the end.
